Using MapsGuessr
MapsGuessr provides an online geography guessing game that may include solo, multiplayer, private-room and competitive features.
By using the service, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.
Accounts
Some MapsGuessr features may require a registered account.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account.
Guest play
Certain features may be available without registration through a temporary guest identity.
Guest access may have fewer features than registered accounts.
Fair play
Players must not manipulate MapsGuessr, interfere with game servers or use tools intended to obtain information that would normally remain hidden during gameplay.
Prohibited behavior may include:
- Manipulating scores or game results
- Attempting to reveal hidden correct coordinates during an active round
- Exploiting bugs to gain a competitive advantage
- Interfering with multiplayer sessions
- Abusing automated requests or the matchmaking system
Competitive ratings
MapsGuessr may provide ranked matchmaking and player ratings.
Ratings, rankings and game results are calculated by MapsGuessr systems according to the current game rules and may change as those systems evolve.
Availability
MapsGuessr may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, network failures or third-party service interruptions.
Continuous or uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
Third-party services
MapsGuessr uses third-party services, including mapping, Street View, hosting and other infrastructure providers.
Some functionality may therefore also be subject to the terms or policies of those providers.
Changes to the game
Game rules, features, scoring systems, matchmaking behavior and available modes may be changed as MapsGuessr develops.
Suspension or restriction
Access may be restricted when necessary to protect the service, other players or the integrity of multiplayer competition.

MapsGuessr is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no guarantee is made that the service will always be free from interruptions, errors or unavailable third-party data.
Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time.
Continued use of MapsGuessr after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by applicable law.
